Vedantam Sripatisarma,born in Guntur,Andhra Pradesh,( India) on 12.08.1964 hails from the village Kunchavaram (Agraharam),Kollipara Mandal, Attota Taluk near the town of Tenali. His mother is Smt.Krishnaveni and father is Dr.V.A.Kumaraswamy,the noted Scholar Poet in Sanskrit and Telugu.

A post graduate in Commerce from the Osmania University,an Astrologer, Numerologist, writer in Telugu, Hindi and English,he has around 50 short stories and a novel in Telugu published in various Telugu magazines like Navya, Andhra Prabha,Andhra Bhumi,Swati etc. and also in dailies like Varta etc. His stories are also on the magazines published on the net. Currently,he has a column on Political and Economic reviews in the monthly Telugu magazine 'Chitra'.

His short stories in English-around 25 had been broad cast on the All India Radio,Hyderabad while a couple of them have been published in the local dailies.

His Hindi Playlet with the title 'Ek Din Baazar Mein' bagged the best playlet award in the Inter Divisional Competitions organised by the South Central Railway Rajbhasha Adhikari during 1998. His Telugu plays are sublime with light huaily,;mour and has around ten plays to his credit-written,acted and directed as well. His playlet,'Satyamapriyam' won the best Production award during 2004 at the competitions conducted by the Andhra Lalita Kala Samiti.

Currently, he is conducting a quiz on Indian heritage (Puranam Quiz) in the local daily 'Sakshi' from Monday to Thursday sinceone and half years.

The Sunday column,'Arogyabhagya chakram' appeared regularly in the Sunday edition of the Telugu daily,' Andhra Prabha'. This was about Medical Astrology and remedial Astrology.

His method and flair is mostly comedy,in depth analysis,substantial write ups,concrete expression of abstract ideas and intersting converstions presented inside simple,yet baffling situations.

His film reviews and Political reviews are creative,dissecting,sometimes piercing but most oftenconributing to the thought process. His book reviews are similar in nature...
